Could a pacifier work to help a orphaned kitten with teething?

My husband found a kitten at his factory that was young enough to still have the cord attached. They searched for mom, and when they couldn't find her I became mom to Kaylie the Calico. She's about 3-4 weeks old now, and starting to teeth (she really likes chewing on my fingers and the nipple of her bottle). Could an infant pacifier work? Has anyone tried it? My kids are in love, but aren't sure about her "biting" them.
