What are your pets lucky escapes?

my rat (I got her from a pet store,no breeders,shelters with them near by at the time) she would have been food,but a boy bought her,but his parents were getting a divorce,so the father brought her and the male she was with to a different pet store,and thats where I found her,so she was lucky there,and then a few days ago my sis let our puppies in earlier than usual,and they would eat her,but Bella (our APBT puppy weighs about 30-40 lbs) almost jumpped on her! so she didnt get eaten or stepped on so she was lucky...
