Does anyone like old games better than new ones?

I bought a PS3 about 6 months ago. I've played GoW1&2,Bioshock,Dragon Age,Asin's Creed 1&2,Red Dead Redemption and some others. Fallout 3 is the only one I can say that I really like. On the PC the old games like Unreal,Quake,Thief,etc. seemed to be wayyyyy more fun. Yeah, they didn't look anywhere near as good as the latest games but I remember the game play seemed better and you didn't have to learn a totally useless skill in getting used to the horrible controllers. If I am gonna devote that much time to learning something why not be an engineer because after 6 months I am barely better at the sucky PS3 controllers.
