Snowboard protection with paint protection film from 3m?

has anyone ever tried to put on protection on their snowboard or skis with the invisible paint protection film from 3m. This film is usually put on cars front bumpers and hoods to avoid chips, it is also put on cell phone screens to avoid scratches. I wanted to put this on snowboards but not sure if it would be able to handle the constant flexing of the board.
