I just heard Rush Limbaugh's commentary about the Powell endorsement (watched it actually) and he screamed at the top of his lungs that Powell's endorsement was "totally about race." This is has been going on this entire election but I have to say that these allegations against Powell piss me off more anything else in this election cycle. How can I convince my school to let us do blood typing?

So last semester my bio teacher did blood typing with his Biology cl and got in trouble for it because, "it is a hazard to the students of the school". So this semester we were learning about blood but aren't allowed to do blood typing because it is a "a bodily fluid that can harm others and increases the risk of aids and other diseases". Seriously, a bodily fluid in a human bio cl! Who could possibly imagine that? Anyway, this really irritated me as I was looking forward to doing blood typing but we aren't allowed to do it. I think it is crazy. We weren't allowed to look at spit under a microscope because it contains possible hazardous germs. My school won't let us do anything in biology and my argument is that you can learn the theory of bio, but to actually experiance it is totally different. We are allowed to watch movies, or do a fake simulation with fake blood, but nothing with real blood, even if it's the teachers! We haven't done any labs this year excep fake simulations. well...you can't really lose certain part of your body fats. try doing many sets of small weights for all body parts. it'll help tone down your body and probably work a little as cardio as well. take walk after meals and eat 6 small meals a day (helps burn down fat. i've lost quiet alot doing just that)

Girl I know is feeling tired all the time is 18, very athletic, and eats well. She got her blood work done but there were no irregularities. One thing to note was her blood pressure was pretty high even though she doesn't ingest hardly any salt (healthy eater). My TV out is not working on my ATI graphics card?

My agp ATI Radeon X1600 has a standard VGA output, as well as another port for HD component output. The port looks kind of like a S-video but different. The card came with an adapter that plugs into this with your HD component blue, green, and red cable inputs. The blue can also be used has regular composite video out via a regular RCA yellow cable. I know this to be true as I will explain later. In my Catalyst Control Center, there is a screen to enable my second display. I'm using a regular og TV, and all the cables are connected. What I'm supposed to do is, right click on the grayed out second display box, and click enable. When I do this my TV flickers, and then it goes right back to being disabled. If I turn on FORCE TV DETECTION, a little TV icon appears below my monitor icon. It says, right click for a drop down menu for options, or drag and drop to one of the top two boxes. Right clicking does nothing. No menu. Nothing. I can see where I'm supposed to drag it, but it doesn't let me. All I can do is drag the TV icon over top of my monitor icon, and a menu appears. The only option on this menu is "SWAP". When I swap, my picture appears on the TV perfectly, but I have nothing on my computer monitor. I've tried everything and determined I need some expert help. I'm trying to avoid downloading new ATI drivers as 1, it's a pain in the *** to uninstall and reinstall drivers for ATI, and 2. Mine are fairly new. How could they mess up their software that bad and release it to the public? It MUST be some issue I'm overlooking. Please help me, thank you.

Hi, I have this weird thing that I can do which makes my body feel "over-energized" and it feels as if pure energy and blood is rushing through my body. Hi, a few months ago my boss asked me if I would like to become the store manager and I was very excited and said yes. He told me when I started training I'd get a raise and then once I become the manager I'd get another raise. I've been training for 2 months now and I never got a raise nor asked for one. How can I liberate my mind from the need for logic and reason?

I am very creative and I used to be able to just do and let my imagination run my decisions and allow me to create and think freely. I hired a contractor to remodel my house. He replaced a sturdy metal deck w/ a thin sheet metal one.My options

The contract stated: "The metal deck will be replaced with a metal deck of like quality" The original one was iron, sturdy and with checkerplate (non-skid surface). Persistent sore throat - could it be tonsillitis?

I dont think that Legendary pokemons is strong. You can use more dragon type, like Dragonite, since Dragonite is a very strong dragon who can use almost all elemental skill, like thunder, fire, water, flying, fighting, dragon and more. Dragonite is more useful than Alakazam. I dont remember so sure that is there any Ground - Water type pokemon like Whicash in the Leaf Green, so thunder is enough for water type pokemons go down.

Does anyone like old games better than new ones?

I bought a PS3 about 6 months ago. I've played GoW1&2,Bioshock,Dragon Age,Asin's Creed 1&2,Red Dead Redemption and some others. Fallout 3 is the only one I can say that I really like. On the PC the old games like Unreal,Quake,Thief,etc. seemed to be wayyyyy more fun. Yeah, they didn't look anywhere near as good as the latest games but I remember the game play seemed better and you didn't have to learn a totally useless skill in getting used to the horrible controllers. If I am gonna devote that much time to learning something why not be an engineer because after 6 months I am barely better at the sucky PS3 controllers.

My 13m old(14m on 29th)is weighing in@20lbs 1ozs-20lbs 3ozs on my home baby scale and was weighing 20lbs also at the Ped's office scale. My Pediatrician wasn't concerned by her weight being on the lower end, but I know she's underweight from what I've read and the fact she still wears size 12m clothes when she should be entering 18m clothes by now. I feel like a bad mother because she should weigh more, but she doesn't want to eat much right now that she's getting all 4 of her canine teeth in and she is mostly sucking down milk and picks at her food I feed her. She also is chewing on her fingers, toys and pacifiers. I don't want to call my Ped's office for an appt just yet and sound like a crazy mom all worried about her weight gain and have them laugh at me. I've never had this problem with my other child, but I was underweight as a child(not as baby/toddler that I know of)if that matters.

um.. when i first started skating i skated tight trucks until i got better, then i loosened them up, but tight trucks are good for first starting. id reccomend loosening them up when you learn to kickflip though. oh, and to ollie, just put your foot on the tail and snap the tail down and jump at the same time while bringing your back foot up as hgih as you can. dont be afraid to slap the tail down as hard as you can, it will give you more height

ok so my computer was working fine untill i decided too buy a graphics card for it , it was running on the chipset before the new card but now after the bios menu pops up its just gives no signal too the comp. I am 31, a bit old to take driver test, I did well days before test driving on highway, city etc. Today I failed the road test, I started three point turn and hit the accelarator instead of brake and hit the cone and was failed at once I have never done that before! and then once home when parking I did it again! I went over the curb because I hit accelarator again, I was still nervous and thinking of what had happened on the road test. What can I DO? The tester said I do not drive safe and need more practice, that usually they suggest 5 months of practice but I need my license now,my hubby which has taught me is afraid to drive with me now there are no instructors in my area and I am new no friends or neighbors, I am thinking to just let it go, nervousness and driving cannot go together, I have always been a nervous person for minor things and it is my nature.
